The
industrial revolution started in England in the 1750`s. If we look back in
those days, we can see that families were changing their life from an
agricultural one to industrial economy. It was a difficult decision to change
life but unfortunately they wanted to leave the countryside and settle in the
towns.

In this
revolution, economic life changed to one with more machinery and pretty rushed
lifestyle. With this process a lot of income was being made throughout the
world. They created different machines such as for textile industries, iron
making techniques and more trading.
An idea of some machinery.
Not only men and women go to work but even the
children got to go to work. The working hours were from five in the morning
till eight at night. It was harsh and cruel because children wanted to eat and
drink as usual but they did not have much time because they only have 30 minutes
break.

If
we take a look at the building in towns, we note that there were very miserable
places and people were very poor. To see how they were poor, they had several
families in each house and no bathrooms but only one toilet per street. Because
of this fact, there were many diseases. Diseases did not come from the previous
fact only but also from the pollution of the factories.
